We Offer The Following Services:

Regional Center Physical Therapy Services

BET is vendors with the NLACRC to provide early start physical therapy services and developmental assessments, currently covering Santa Clarita and Antelope Valley.

The role of the physical therapist in early intervention is first to assess the child for the need for physical therapy. If a child qualifies for regional center services then physical therapy will work on gross motor skills.  The physical therapist will work along with the other members of the child’s team and incorporate activities to facilitate growth in other areas of development as well, including fine motor skills, speech and cognition. The family will also be educated in activities to do at home that will provide follow through to the physical therapy program.

To receive services through this program children must be 0-3 and fill out an application or be referred.

Educationally Based Pediatric Therapy Services

BET has been providing educationally based pediatric therapy services in Antelope Valley and surrounding areas since 2012. As a California Non-Public Agency (“NPA”), our team includes occupational therapy and physical therapy practitioners working in school settings focusing on improving each child’s functional skills related to his or her performance in an educational environment. We also have the following support services:

According to the Guidelines for Occupational and Physical Therapy in the California Public Schools, California Department of Education, Sacramento, 1996: “The goal of physical therapy intervention is to assist the child function within the school environment. The roles of the physical therapist are defined by regulations, guidelines, and philosophies gathered from federal and state laws, state guidelines, professional standards, and school district policies.

Related support services address individual student abilities and functioning within the educational environment and recommendations for these services must be linked to educationally relevant outcomes.

My thoughts about working with your agency/YOU: Quick to respond to any questions pays timely and great pay for job. Feel as if I'm thought of personally, not just as an employee. Very respectful. Tries to offer more hours. KIND!

Our son has come so far since his initial diagnosis and we have no doubt it was due to Leticia’s hard work and perseverance with him. She goes above and beyond!

Butterfly Effects is a top-notch company! I had significant staffing challenges this school year and they were able to quickly meet my district's needs. The owner Leticia Fernandez provides excellent customer service as she is always supportive, and adaptable. Service providers are extremely professional, reliable, and able to meet the unique needs of our students. They are my go-to for staffing needs.

The therapists for Butterfly Effects pour their hearts, soul and energy into my daughter. I’m so grateful for their creative ideas, hard work ethic and joyful attitudes. They work and flex with my daughter and see her for who she is. They love her as a kid and push her to find what she can do.

Working for Butterfly Effects Therapy has been a pleasure. I’ve experienced and appreciated a great balance of freedom and support, which has enabled me to do my job with the primary focus at the forefront: helping children become more independent, and collaborating with those around them. I strongly recommend Butterfly Effects Therapy as an employer! Karen Bernards, OTR/L School-based Occupational Therapist
